I summon the shadows.
The demons of freights,
The horrors, the hunters.
The wolves of silent nights.
'I not know what's beyond the dawn but you.
I not look up into the casting stars, but to see your eyes.
I not lay on this hill top,
but to stretch my fingers into the chilling night air,
wishing to feel you.
I feel them howling around me now.
Their eyes shining like demons.
Their footsteps bounding soft over the gold pitch,
forest floor.
The brown, lancet, and darkness of the gently caressed leaves,
falling from the titan's trees, crack.
Like the bones of an anciently buried skeleton,
of forgotten times.
They shine sliver.
Sliver like silk tread, carefully hand woven.
Into silhouettes on the grasses,
in the moonlight.
The demons dance in and out of the trees,
howling in harmony to the moon.
Their harsh Mistress.
Sleek, quick and dark, they move closer.
Their ears pricked, their claws spread over the earth,
digging sharply, at the moistened dirt.
Jaw held slightly open.
To drink in the thick, night wind.
Sliding out between their massive, gleaming canines,
in puffs of mist.
The monsters glide around me, tilting their heads.
I unwind myself, and reach my hand forward towards them.
They snap, and growl and whine at my gesture.
Lips snapping up over jaws, pulled back into evil,
blood thirsty smiles.
Their eyes beginning to glow in the moonlight.
One steps closer to me, signaling for them to pull back.
He is large, a grayed one, dappled with rain drops,
and specks of golden leaves.
He lowers his hand to me, and bows.
The other demons sarinate into the night.
And I let my hand fall lifeless,
knowing you are not among them,
as they sing to me their sorrows.
I digress.
They howl once more, piercing the Autumn sky.
And gracefully fall like shadows, back into the wood.
Until they disappear.
Each pair of glowing eyes blinking out in the darkness.
Like fading stars.
And I sit back, and wait for you again.

I'm living in fears.
Haunted in tears.
Choking the truth with no ears,
I'm all alone crying to my fears.
Thank you for the favorite too! ^/.^

I adore the sound of a bendy straw when you stretch it out to put it in your drink, to MAKE it bendy.
It's the little things in life that make me happy.
A werewolf too. <3
